If I was told that all I would catch is Hell if I went out fishing today, I would still go out.  Fishing is more than a sport or job to me,  it is what I love to do the most in life, second to being with my family.  Of course if asked, my family would say I am correct about stating my priorities, family first, then fishing, but they would also say the best place to find me is on the Excalibur!  Having fished my entire life, first in the waters off Long Island, New York and for the past 30 years, the waters off the coast of Maine I have a large amount of experience in the sport.  I am married to my wife Barbara, we have four children and six grandchildren, with number seven on the way! I am a Coast Guard licensed Captain and a Registered Maine Guide.  My professional memberships include the Maine Professional Guides Association, the Sportsman’s Alliance of Maine and I’m a member of the Portland Chamber of Commerce.  The Excalibur, which is a 25’ Grady White Sailfish is my boat and we fish for Tuna, Shark, Cod, Pollack, Haddock, Stripers, and Mackerel.  The Excalibur is available for family charters to islands in Casco Bay, or sunset cruises.

To sum up, I guess I will admit to being a fishaholic since it has been said of me that if I can’t put a hook in it ….. I don’t want anything to do with it.
